wiring.
Some nice pushbuttons in the triple trees.
1 for starter and 1 for the horn.

1 for starter and 1 for the horn.
Yesterday i started wiring, its something i hate but when i am doing it i'm starting to love it. I found a simple diagram on the net (thanks to wally) and i startet puzling. I'm using all the old wiring but what i don't need has to leave.
No gear indicator for this bike, who needs them anyway.
just full throttle.
I made a stainless steel plate under the seat, where i put my battery en all th components, and then i started wiring.

cool choppers.

surging for parts for my gs i found some beautiful pics of gs choppers.
3 times hardtail, 2 times gs 850, never knew you could build a perfect chop of a gs. Always thougt you need a cb 750 or a xs 650.

But one thing i know for sure , the next one will be a chopper.
Maybe i change my mind after riding my caferacer. Will see.

the building
normally its less is better, but on a caferacer you need 2 meters.
that's my opinion.
lightbrackets are aluminium, made at work on our cnc punch machine.

paint.
New paint.
yes i know, the frame looks black.
Actualy it's a kind of grey, black metallic. It sparkels in the sun. Even the rims sparkle, The idee was to let them be the original colour, black. but wen i started polishing them, i figured it was a better idee to remove all the paint, and spray them grey.
Everything is done by ratlecan.
nothing beats a ratlecan paintjob.

i tought it was a great idee to build a caferacer of it.
So i offert him some money and i picked it up.
